Kennedy Benton once had it all. She was the star of a highly acclaimed TV series and was romantically involved with the show's producer the beautiful Bella Cameron. When the series was abruptly canceled, the offers Kennedy thought would come pouring in never materialized. She seeks out auditions during the day while waitressing at night.
Kennedy's roommates and co stars on her former TV series can't understand why she is still involved with Bella Cameron a woman they insist is only using her for her own selfish needs and hint that Bella may be behind the show's cancelation. As Kennedy tries to come to terms with her relationship with Bella, she wonders if Bella has somehow sabotaged her career and if so why? Could Bella be that cold-hearted? And what would be her motive since it was Bella's show?
As Kennedy finds herself becoming attracted to a coworker Bryn Wilson and begins spending time with Bryn and Bryn's family, she realizes she needs to confront Bella before she can fully move on with her life.
